Passing of Retired Captain David Roberts

September 1 st1940 ~ July 2nd, 2024

Sadly, we have been notified of the passing of retired York Fire Department Captain David Roberts at the age of 75 years young.

Dave was retired as Fire Chief of Cookstown (Innisfil) and former City of York (Toronto) Captain.

Brother Roberts was truly a one-of-a-kind guy who will be missed.

Respecting Dave’s wishes, a private family viewing has taken place and there will be no formal service. Should that change, we will post the details as soon as they become available.

Condolences go out to his family, friends, and co-workers.

Rest in peace brother.
