For our retiree groups, WSIB coverage continues to be a complicated issue. We encourage any and all members, past and present to reach out to us for assistance with whatever information you wish to share. We ask that all requests be made by the members themselves or directly from the family.
Due to the complexity, we leave the eligibility or approval decision to our WSIB Reps, which makes the process easier for all of us. Anyone making a submission will be forwarded directly to our WSIB Team.
Also of note – Even if the cancer is not on the current list, we are asking for all members to share, so that we have case material to help add future illnesses for presumptive review. This also applies to illnesses like Parkinson’s, ALS, Alzheimer’s, and Dementia to name a few.
