RE: St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Sunday, March 17, 2024
The 2024 Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024. We would like to invite all firefighters to join us for “The March” in March.
Toronto Fire Services will be putting our best foot forward by leading the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, directly behind the Grande Marshall. Toronto Fire Services Pipe and Drums Band, Toronto Fire Services Honour Guard, Toronto Fire Service Colour Guard, and firefighters will lead a formal march. Firefighters walking with their families and pets are invited to follow directly behind.
Firefighters who will be marching will receive a 2024 St. Patrick’s Day pin (photo below). These will be handed out during parade form up, as quantities last.
The 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade itinerary, route, and required attire are listed in Appendix 1. For further information on the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade, please click here.
SHAMROCKS FOR DAILY BREAD FOOD BANK FUNDRAISER
The TPFFA will be selling shamrock stickers (photo below) to support the Daily Bread Food Bank in advance of the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The 2023 shamrock fundraiser was well received and a huge success!
Members are encouraged to purchase a shamrock sticker by clicking here. Shamrocks may be personalized and are offered in various sizes. Size, price, and quantity are listed below. Once a shamrock size has been sold out, it will be removed from the electronic purchase form.
4” shamrock = $5 (150 stickers total)
8” shamrock = $10 (100 stickers total)
12” shamrock = $25 (50 stickers total)

Purchased shamrocks will used to decorate a Toronto Fire Services apparatus for the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Members are welcome to remove and keep their shamrock at the conclusion of the parade. All proceeds go to The Daily Bread Food Bank.
