Valentino Cicci – February 1933 – October 2022

Passed away peacefully in his 90th year at Etobicoke General Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2022, after a year-long struggle with heart disease. Loving husband of 64 years to his bride Polly Cicci, dearly missed by his five children Judy (Bill), Jim, Janet (Art), Robert (Mary), and Joanne. Beloved grandfather to Mark (Eve), Jen (Brianna), James (Kelsey), Cole (Jade), Julie (Mark), Makayla, Jeff (Holly), Katie (Mike), Antoni (Sarah), Alessandra, Laura (Harrison), and Andrew. He was a proud great-grandfather to Mikka, Kaya, Quinn, Conor, Gavin, Violet, Rhys, Rory, Saydee, and Salvatore. Val will be missed by his many friends, neighbours, and colleagues. His strength, love, courage, and generosity will be forever in our hearts.

Etobicoke Fire Crest

Val started with the Etobicoke Fire Department on December 17, 1962, and retired with over 30 years of service on February 4, 1993. He was a dispatcher on A platoon and hung his hat at old Etobicoke station #3 now station 445. He lived close to station 441 and was a well-known and respected member of the community.
