Active Retired Membership

adminMembership

Dear Retired Brother/ Sister,

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. Even though the numbers are coming down, please continue to take all the precautions necessary to stay safe from the Covid-19 virus.

May is membership renewal month. Unfortunately, 206 members have not renewed their membership in over a year, as such they have or are about to become inactive. This means that access to the 3888 website, the IAFF and Firewatch magazine, and other entitlements will be discontinued.

If you wish to renew your membership please do so before June 30th, the cost is $25.00/year (May 1st – April 30th) and can be renewed in one of the following ways below. If you have decided that you no longer wish to be a member, we are truly sorry to see you go.

If you are unsure when you last renewed contact us at mail@retiredtorontofirefighters.org and we will endeavor to assist you in finding when your last renewal date was.

For those wishing to keep their membership current, we have three ways for which you to do so.

  • By Cheque

If a member wishes to pay via cheque, the office checks the mail on a regular basis. To make sorting of the mail easier please mark the envelope

  • By Credit Card

If members wish to pay via credit card, Leanne would ask if the member could email her advising they would like to pay via credit card, and she’ll call them back to get their information (please include your phone number). This will alleviate an overabundance of phone calls coming into the Association, and it will help her to keep an accurate list of renewals and payments.

  • By E-Transfer

For those wishing to pay by e-transfer, you may do so by sending the transfer to the RTFFA via this email mail@retiredtorontofirefighters.org.

Please follow with a second email with the question/answer to mail@retiredtorontofirefighters.org as well.

The RTFFA Executives will then update Leanne on who has renewed their membership so she can keep an accurate list of renewals and payments.

  1. Note – E-transfers – as we have members with the same or similar names, please be sure that we can properly identify who the payment is from.

Because we all must work to keep each other healthy and safe we ask that you do not go to the Association office to pay by cash; the Association office is CLOSED and will not allow outside entry until further notice.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

Your Executive
