Captain James Malyon 1934 – 2020 .

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing Jim Malyon. Jim died peacefully at home on November 9, 2020 after a short illness (unrelated to COVID-19) and was surrounded by his family, Barbara (wife of 61 years), his son Randy, and daughter Karey.

He was 86 years of age. Jim was a proud Etobicoke Firefighter, he started on the job on January 4, 1963 and retired as a Captain on July 1, 1993 after a 30-year career.

After retirement, we had many years of camping along with other family members and later on in time great cruises and holidays in the sun. He will be sadly missed by all our extended family, great many friends, and long-time neighbours of 48 years. May he rest in peace.
