Firefighter Raymond Barager – Oct 1935 – Apr 2026

Ray peacefully passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Elaine for 66 years. Loving father of Brian and Jane. Reunited with his parents, Bert and Mary. He was part of the Toronto Fire Services for 33 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Ray’s career began with the Toronto Fire Department on the 9th of August 1957. He retired on the 27th of October 1990, after many station assignments. He loved to golf and coach the Duffield Boys Hockey Team at Downsview Arena.

He will be deeply missed by all his family and those who knew him. He will remain in their hearts forever and will never be forgotten. Donations to Matthews House Hospice can be made in memory of Ray:
