DC Vincenzo Audino – 27 Jun 1944 – 19 Mar 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Vincenzo Audino announces his passing on March 19, 2026. Vincenzo was born on June 27, 1944, in Bovalino Marina, Calabria, Italy, to Domenico and Maria Grazia. In 1969, he married his beloved wife, Frances, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and partnership. He is survived by his children, Vincent (Terry) and Elena; is cherished by his grandchildren, Isaiah, Lauren, Seth, and Nathaniel. He will be deeply missed by his brother John, sister Teresa (Procopio), Agostino, Maria Antonia, and Maria. Vincenzo was predeceased by his sister Rosaria (Lanzo), brother Joseph, and sister Nicolina (Mazza). Vincenzo will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, and colleagues.

Vincenzo served with dedication and pride as a Toronto firefighter for over 30 years, rising to the rank of Captain, and later retiring as a District Fire Chief. His legacy in the fire service continues through his son, Vincenzi Audino Jr., an active member of Local 3888, proudly serving as a Captain at Station 426 (15).

Visitation – Wednesday March 25th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday March 26th from 9:00 am to 10:15 am Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H 7A8

Funeral Mass – Thursday, March 26th, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, St Benedict Parish, 300 Yates Drive, Milton, ON L9T 2W3.
