Funeral Information for PC William Hudson, Retired L752 North York Fire

William “Bill” Francis Hudson – 1937 – 2026

William Francis Hudson returned home to be with his loving wife, Adella, for eternity on March 11, 2026. Bill was a loving father to James (Jackie) Hudson and Cheryl (Yves) Trudell. Remembered affectionately by granddaughters Meagan (Alex) Bric, and Erin (Steve) Carter, grandsons Matthieu and Benjamin Trudell, and great-grandchildren Hailee Bric, and Owen Carter. Bill will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends..

Bill was a dedicated Firefighter. He began his career with the North York Fire Department on the 13th of August 1962, and retired as a Platoon Chief on the 31st of January 1998, after 36 years of service.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Extendicare on Chedmac in Hamilton for their kindness and compassion shown to Bill. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of choice.

Celebration of Life – Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King Street East, Dundas, ON (additional parking at the adjacent Air Force Club).
