Andrew Gordon Harrison, known as Andy, passed away peacefully in Toronto at Humber River Regional Hospital on January 21st, 2026, at the age of 81. Andy was born in Toronto to Mary and Wilfred Harrison on May 23rd, 1944. Brother to Patricia. He lived in the City of York/Weston community his entire life. Devoted husband to Elizabeth Harrison (deceased November 28, 2012). Andy was a loving father to Jaime (Harrison), son-in-law Greg (Jensen), and grandfather to Freya and Soren (Harrison Jensen). Companion to Mae (Noseworthy).

Andy was a firefighter with the City of York for 32.5 years. He spent his retirement years with Humber Community Seniors Services, driving members to and from appointments. He was dedicated to supporting his community and was always the first one to step in and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Andy enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, fishing, traveling, and collecting random treasures, especially firefighter paraphernalia. He loved to laugh, talk, and make friends wherever he went. He always had a story to share and seemed to know everyone wherever he was. He always had a smile on his face. Andy lived for his family. His unconditional love, guidance, and support will truly be missed by those he held closest to his heart.
