Firefighter Dennis Penovacz – 18 May 1941 ~ 13 Jan 2026

Romans 8:2 King James Version 2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death”.

Dennis, Badge #175, was a dedicated Firefighter in his 85th year. His career began with the Etobicoke Fire Department in 1965, and he retired as a Firefighter in 1998 after 33 years of service. Dennis will be missed by all his friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dennis to The Sick Kids Hospital Foundation.

Funeral Service – Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 1030 am, Westminster Funeral & Reception Centre, 5826 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M2R 1Y6 (first building on your left). Burial will follow the Service at Westminster Cemetery.
