Firefighter Ross S. Stone – 04 Dec 1935 – 19 Sep 2025

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Mr. Ross Stone on September 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Ross is survived by his beloved wife of sixty years, Ruth. Devoted son to the late Margaret and Arthur. He will be dearly missed by his children, Andrew and Anne, and his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Megan, and Senna—dear brother of Joyce, and the late Gerry and Bruce. Ross will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. His absence leaves a void for his family and his friends.

Ross was a dedicated Firefighter. He began his career with the Toronto Fire Department on the 27th of October 1961 and retired on the 12th of December 1988, with 27 years of Service.
