Firefighter Robert Bruce Davidson – 1930 ~ 2025

Davidson, Robert Bruce “Bob”. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Davidson on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Toronto, son of James and Hazel Davidson. Beloved husband of the late Doreen Davidson. Loving father of Sandra Loos and Robert Davidson (Connie). Cherished grandfather of Brandi Watson (Eric), and Courtnie Breit (Jon). Great-grandfather of Silk, Caden, Golden, Hauk, and Teagan. Predeceased by his brothers William” Bill” Davidson (Irene) and James “Jim” Davidson. Dear uncle of Brent Davidson (Sonia) and Terry Davidson (Michele). Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was a dedicated and caring firefighter for 32 years and since been retired for 38 years. Bob’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Sundial Retirement Residence. He appreciated each and every one of you.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E., Orillia (705) 327-0221.
