He will be deeply missed by his mother, Mary Ellis; his sister, Kathy Wohlfeld; his brother, Mark Thackway; and their families. He also leaves behind all of his loyal friends who stood by him through life’s many chapters.

A 33-year veteran of Toronto Fire Services, Blair dedicated his life to serving his community with strength, courage, and compassion. He was not only a firefighter but a true brother to many—generous, ambitious, and deeply devoted. As a proud Mason, Blair valued loyalty, tradition, and the friendships he built throughout his life.
