Promoted to Glory on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025. Loving wife to Dianne (nee: Fairfull). Cherished Dad to Paula (James) McGregor, Laurie-Anne (Tom) Vaisanen, Brent Wilson, and Blair (Jessica) Wilson. Predeceased by son, Cameron. Beloved Grandad to Ryan (Kim) McGregor, Brandon (Amanda) McGregor, Markus (Suzanne) Vaisanen, Nathan (Anna) Vaisanen, Blake (Eryn) Vaisanen, Robert (Chelsea) Vaisanen, Kendra (Liam) Salmon, Caleb (Elisha) Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Seth Wilson, Danielle Wilson and Abigail Wilson. Great-Grandad to Madison, Marissa, Mitchel, Jacob, and Ainsleigh McGregor; Josiah, Emily, Naomi, Clayton, Hudson, Oakley, Lennox, Poppy, Levi, Walker, Adelynn, and Daniel Vaisanen; Landon Salmon and Adelaide Wilson.

Bob married the love of his life, Dianne, in 1957. Early in their married life, they started attending a Baptist Church, where they raised their family. Over the years, he used his gift of music to minister in many churches. Bob was a devoted family man who loved Dianne, his wife of 67 years, and their five children, whom he worked hard to provide for. Bob started his career as a Butcher, and then shortly after marrying Dianne, he became a Toronto Firefighter, serving the city for thirty years.
