Jim Reynolds – 16 October 1946 – 21 February 2025

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of James (Jim) Albert Reynolds on February 21st, 2025 at the age of 78. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Marina Reynolds. His children, Taunya Zabielski (Ryan), Chantelle Reynolds, Jamie Reynolds (Kristine) Proud Papa of Emma, Liam, Benjamin, and Abigail. Who will miss their papa dearly. Brother of Maureen Colangelo (Richard) and his late sister Dale Harrison. And will be missed by his nephew Michael Redden (Megan).

Born in Toronto to the late Jean and Albert Reynolds. Jim moved to Willow Beach in 1970 and raised his family in Georgina. An established pillar in the community, Jim was a proud Freemason and Past Master of Malone Lodge No. 512 in Sutton. Jim was a Captain with the North York Fire department, he retired in 1999, after 30 years of service. He didn’t see himself as a Hero, but all the lives he impacted and helped would disagree.

He was a proud dedicated firefighter and instilled the value of service in his family. After retirement, he began his travel adventures with Marina and friends, traveling the world over. They found their winter home and settled in Largo Florida for 10 years. Papa Jim was the grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. He attended every sports game, dance recital, award ceremony, and graduation to name a few. Jim also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and loved cheering for the underdog in sports. A sweet man, known for his family pride will be missed dearly and never forgotten. Leaving a legacy of Greatness!

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to the Diabetes Association in Jim’s honour.
