Eric “Rick” Graham Jenkins – 31 May 1945 ~ 29 Dec 2024

Eric “Rick” Graham Jenkins (Retired Toronto firefighter) Passed away at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 202,4 at the age of 79. Rick, beloved husband of Lynda (nee Matthewson) for over 58 years. Loving father of Wendy Fizzard (Garry) of Barrie, Tracy Jenkins of Calgary, and David Jenkins of Orillia. Cherished grandfather of Cynthia (Harpreet), Julia (Chris), Josh, Jake and Zach. Proud great-grandfather of 5.

Rick was a dedicated firefighter with the Toronto Fire Department. His career began on January 13, 1967. He spent most of his service at Stn. 34 (Wanless Ave) on the B1 Shift (131 D). Rick retired on October 8, 1990, after 23 years of service. At Rick’s request, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home.
