Rick was a firefighter with Toronto for 25 years. Rick’s career with The Toronto Fire Department began on the 1st of December 1975. He spent most of his service at Claremont Street on the A2 Shift. (331 C). He retired in 2000 to enjoy life. Yet he still found time to work for friends and part-time services. He liked to keep busy.
Special thanks go to all the doctors and nurses who were there to help Rick through Chemo. He was fighting a losing battle but had hoped for a remission. Sadly, it was not to be. Thanks to the ER staff, and 5th floor staff. Critical Care Unit 1 and Palliative Care staff at the Brantford General Hospital for the wonderful care Rick received.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Sincerest Condolences from all our Retiree Groups go out to his Family and Friends.
