DC Paul Davey – 10 August 1938 – 18 November 2024

Paul Davey was a much-beloved husband of over 65 years to Margaret; father to daughters Tracey and Rebecca and father-in-law to John; brother to Wes; Uncle and cousin to many; and a much-missed friend and colleague to others. He died peacefully with family by his side after a brief illness.

Paul was a retired District Fire Chief for the Toronto Fire Department (Toronto Fire Services), who served his city for over 35 years. Paul was also a long-standing member of the Toronto Fire Fighters War Veterans’ Association a gifted athlete, Paul was professionally scouted for baseball and played other sports throughout his life. He was a die-hard fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leaf’s, even though they disappointed him greatly!

Celebration of Life Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm Royal Canadian Legion Branch 643, 110 Jutland Road, Toronto ON, M8Z 2H1. Refreshments will be provided, with speeches at 2:30 pm.
