TORONTO FIRE DEPARTMENT LAST ALARM
Firefighter Caleb James Green – 27 Feb 1934 ~ 19 Nov 2024
In Loving Memory Jim Green, passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, with his family by his side at the age of 90 years. Loving husband to the late Beatrice Green of 62 years. In his early years, he proudly represented Canada in the Korean War for the Royal Canadian Dragoons tank division. He was a retired firefighter with the Toronto Fire Department for 30 years and was a long-standing member of the Toronto Fire Fighters War Veterans’ Association.
He was the cherished Father of Brenda Munroe (Mike), Paul Green (Juliette), and Wanda Miller (Nick). Adored Grandfather of Johnny Green (April), Janet Stokes (David), Matthew Lemay, Megan Lemay, Tyler Lavictoire, and Victoria Munroe (Darwin). Great Grandfather to Lucie, Colton, Annie, Larissa, and Gabby. Jim will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, with his kind heart and gentle way. A private family service will be held on Friday, November 22nd, 2024.
The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society.
