Captain Eric Adams – 1948 ~ 2023
It’s with deep sadness we announce the passing of Captain Eric Adams (Seniority #422) on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Eric started with the Scarborough Fire Department in September 1974 and retired in September 2006.
Eric became ill about 3 weeks ago and was diagnosed with work-related cancer (lymphoma) on September 1st his 75th birthday.
As per Eric’s wishes, there will be no funeral but a celebration of life sometime in the future.
Our sincerest condolences go out to Eric’s wife Sheelagh, his children Heather and Mark, his brothers Alan and Brian, and his many friends.
