Funeral Information for Capt. Lino Maniezzo Retired City of York (L-411)

Lino Maniezzo – 4th May 1940 – 22nd May 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lino Maniezzo. He passed away peacefully at Etobicoke Hospital on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Lino was the beloved husband of Eileen Maniezzo (née King) predeceased by 27 years and father to Michael and Stephen, grandfather to Megan, Marisa, and Massimo Maniezzo. He was the son of Angelo and Lugina Maniezzo. He is survived by brother John Maniezzo (Janet), niece Adrienne and nephew Andrew, and his Sister Sylvia Cappellacci and nephews Daniel and Eric. Lino immigrated to Canada when he was 16, embracing his new culture while maintaining strong connections in his hometown of Bolzano, Italy.

Lino was a proud member of the City of York Fire Department where he retired as a Captain 29 years ago after 32 years of service.
