Frank Powell – 1933 ~ 2024

We have been notified of the passing of retired Captain Frank Powell in his 91st year.

Frank started his career in 1957 with Leaside FD. He retired as Captain at Station 1 TFS 321 in 1989 after 32 years of service. Brother-in-law to Captain Jim Boyd, ” Mister Leaside ” will always be remembered for his quiet demeanor, quick wit, and knowledge of the old town of Leaside, and his love of the many years spent on Rice Lake.

Frank was a true gentleman and will surely be missed, but rest assured you left your mark and will not be forgotten.

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.
