Acting Captain Allan Walker – 07 November 1935 – 29 February 2024

Retired firefighter Allan Walker passed away on February 29, 2024. Our dad was acting captain at the time of his retirement. He worked for the City of Toronto Fire Department for 31 years. Jean and Al moved to Gamma Street in Etobicoke and lived there for 62 years until Al’s passing. Allan and Jean enjoyed many years on verandah beach, cruises, and dominoes with Nancy and Ernie.

Allan was predeceased by his loving wife, Jean, of 67 years. Allan leaves behind his children, Laurie, Doug, and Donna (Steve), numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Red Cross following his retirement. Dad was a regular blood donor for many, many years.
