James McKain – 29-Jan-1934 – 17-Oct-2023

Jim passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the age of 89. Jim was the beloved husband of the late Annie (nee Beattie) for 65 years. Loving father of Marilyn and Lorraine. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Karen (Mike), Susan (Gerry), Robert (Lisa), Jim (Lorri), Robert (Veronica), Deborah (Teddy), and David. Predeceased by his brother Bill Mckain (late June), brother-in-law Sidney Beattie (late Pauline), and sister-in-law Lily Holder (late Coke).

Jim was a professional Firefighter with the Etobicoke Fire Department for over 35 years and was a Captain on his retirement. He also spent many years as a volunteer firefighter with the Sutton Fire Department. Jim will be remembered by his extended family and friends.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation – Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, from 10:30 am to 11:45 Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery 1810 Albion Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5T1.

Memorial Service – Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, at 11:45 in the Chapel Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery 1810 Albion Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5T1.

Inurnment will follow Service, in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
