Robert Gordon Wallace – 1929 – 2023

Passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2023, in his 94th year, at West Park Long-Term Care Centre, with family members by his side. Predeceased by his loving wife Joan Marian (Taylor) of 67 years, dear father to Ruth and her husband David McDonald, and John. Loving grandfather to Alasdair and Hamish McDonald.

Robert served with the Etobicoke Fire Department from April 19, 1955, until June 30, 1988.

The funeral service was held in the chapel at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Saturday, April 22nd at 3:00 P.M. A Reception followed the service. Cremation has taken place.

Interment will occur at a later date with a family graveside service. In lieu of flowers donations to The Toronto Wildlife Centre would be appreciated.
