David Leonard Catlin – 24-Aug-1936 – 13-Mar-2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David Catlin at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Catlin. Loving father of Jennifer (Jim), Colleen, Todd (Florence), Mark, and Jeff (Susan). Cherished grandpa of Julianna, James, Joelenne, Dustin, Chase, Abbie, Jake, Bobbie-Lee (Greg), Destinne (Jack), Kyle, Nicole, MacKenzie, and Kamryn. Dear brother of Neil, Stephen, Pat, and Linda.

Dave was a dedicated Firefighter with the Toronto Fire Department. Dave began his career with TFD on the 27th of October 1961 and retired on the 18th of September 1989 after 28 years of service. Bob spent most of his time in 2 stations over his career, 5 B1 (333 D) and the Fireboat also on B1 (D). Dave enjoyed 34 years of Retirement. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
