Robert Joseph King – 24 September 1933 ~ 05 April 2023

KING, ROBERT (BOB) JOSEPH, A very bright light has returned to Spirit – in his 90th year. Bob has rejoined his parents, Albert and Clara King, brothers Tom, Bill, Frank, and Neil King, sisters Eleanor and Margaret (nee King), and his beloved life partner, Jeanne McCourt. Bob is survived by his brother, Al King, and sister Pat Richards (nee King), loving King and Fecteau nieces, nephews and cousins, stepchildren, Tamara Lopez, Roger Clarke, Maria Johnson (nee Lopez), Jim Badcock, Paulette Sproul (nee Lopez), Phil Sproul, step-grandchildren, Kim Donald, Michael Johnson, David Johnson, Eric Johnson (Emma), Ryan Sproul (Lindsay), Kyle Sproul (Melissa), Brendan Badcock, Regan Badcock (Dave), Alex Clarke, Meghan Clarke, Brett Clarke (Ashley), Bronte Clarke, and step-great-grandchildren, Cillian James Miller and Mila Mackenzie Sproul.

Bob served proudly and honourably for 33 years with Toronto Fire Service (Yorkville) and 9 years with WheelTrans (TTC). In fact, it can only be said that Bob devoted his entire life to serving others.

Bob began his career with the Toronto Fire Department on the 2nd of December 1955 and retired on the 12th of December 1988. Bob spent most of his time in 2 stations over his career, 10 A1(312 A), and 24 A1 (311 A). Bob enjoyed 35 years of Retirement.
