Local 3888 Members:
Thank you for your overwhelming interest in attending and traveling with us to Brother Arno’s LODD ceremony this coming Friday, March 10th, 2023.
Emails have been already sent to members that have expressed an interest. The following link will be used to fill vacant spots on a first come basis.

The logistics will look like this for this ceremony.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 am this Friday, March 10th, coming.
It will take about 2 hours to get to St. Joseph’s Cathedral 50 Franklin Street, Buffalo, Not including the border crossing.
We are looking at getting on the road early so we can have boots on the ground by 9:00 am in Buffalo.
Members of the C – Platoon working Thursday will need to ask someone to come in early.
We currently are looking at 4 pickup locations and we will be chartering 4 buses. Space is limited, so if you are reserving a spot, please make use of it.
We will be using Coach Canada for this event.

6:00 am Pickering Town Center 1355 Kingston Road, Pickering – Confirmed
We are awaiting confirmation from Pickering and Burlington pickup locations, if this changes we will send you all an update. Please wear your Full-dress uniform, white shirt, white gloves, and shrouded badges for the trip down, this will expedite our crossing into the USA. The C&B Committee will have a supply on have of white gloves, and shrouds for members that need them.
It is cold in Buffalo, dress accordingly.
Remember to bring the following:
Passport – expired passport may be accepted but not guaranteed.
A cooler for food you may want to eat along the way. We will not be stopping.
Full dress uniform and Cap
Warm dress
‘Tip’ for driver
We are planning to depart Buffalo between 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm after the coalition.
The coalition will be at Buffalo Riverworks, 359 Ganson St. Buffalo, NY after the ceremony.

FUNERAL NOTIFICATION

Subject: IAFF LODD: Firefighter Jason Arno, Buffalo Fire Department, NY
Brothers and Sisters;
Unfortunately, yesterday we were saddened to learn that Jason Arno from Buffalo Fire Department passed at a factory fire yesterday in Buffalo, NY.
Jason Arno, 37, was a three-year member of the Buffalo Fire Department. Arno served with Engine 2, which is housed on Virginia Street in Buffalo.
Our condolences to brother Arno’s family, friends, and co-workers.
We have set up this form to gauge interest from our members that may want to travel with us to the funeral on a coach bus.
Once we have a firm date and location, we will notify our members and allow you to reserve a spot on the bus.
