Funeral Information For Firefighter Richard Gunns Retired TFS – Former TFD (L-113)

Richard Gunns – 11 July 1963 – 03 February 2023

Richard passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Carpenter Hospice on Friday, February 3rd, 2023, in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Kirsten, and loving father of Ryker and Bailey. Dear son of Bob and the late Evelyn, and brother to Linda (Mike) and the late Karen. Richard will be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law Ingrid (Darren), Birgitta (Rik), and Astrid (Don), by his nieces and nephews Adam, Ryan, Amy, Tara, Kealan, Rachel, Braedan, and by all his extended family and many friends.

Richard started with the Toronto Fire Department on April 29, 1991, and was assigned to several stations throughout his career. Richard retired from P335 D (The Island on B-1) on 30 June 2020 after 29 Years.
