2022 Ontario Fallen Fire Fighters’ Memorial

To: All Members

The 2022 Ontario Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial will be held on the grounds of Queen’s Park on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, at 1:00 pm. after a 3-year hiatus due to Covid 19 restrictions.

The Monument was erected in memory of all fire fighters who have died in the Line of Duty while protecting the citizens and property of Ontario. This year, among the many that will be honored, there will be 28 of our own members.

This ceremony will be a fitting tribute to these fire fighters and a lasting memory for their families. We are encouraging all of our members to attend this ceremony. Form-up for all fire fighters is at Queens Park Circle and Grosvenor Street at 12:00 pm. Full dress uniforms with white shirt and white gloves to be worn, unshrouded badge as this is a memorial service.

OPFFA will be holding a reception at Pogue Mahone Pub & Kitchen 777 Bay St., Toronto, ON M5G 2B3 right after the service.
