Bradley Ronald Andrews
Toronto Fire Captain
December 21, 1958 – August 16, 2022
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of retired Fire Captain Brad (DOC) Andrews, after a private and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63.
Beloved husband of Denise. He was the proud father of Elyse (Cory), Derek (Emily), and Daniel (Chelsea). He was also a loving Papa to Isla and son-in-law to Wanda Burrows. Predeceased by his parents Ron and Lil Andrews. Fondly remembered by Kathy and Bob, Russ and Cindy, Ken and Shirley, Dave and Ruth, and all of his nieces and nephews.
Brad had a passion for spending time at the cottage with family and friends. He was a very proud Fire Fighter who retired as a Fire Captain from station 227 after 33 years of service. He loved fishing, skiing, and hunting with the boys. Brad loved people and always made new friends throughout his travels.
We would like to thank Russ, Cindy, Mark, Cheryl, Janice, Gord, Steve, and Cassandra for all their love and support throughout this time.
Our greatest appreciation to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Bowmanville for their care and kindness.
Please join us for a Celebration of Brad’s life Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Hampton Community Hall – 5360 Old Scugog Rd, Hampton, ON L0B 1J0 from 12 pm to 3 pm. The celebration will be casual and outdoors, weather permitting.
