Jake Roderick McKee
SEPTEMBER 21, 2005 – AUGUST 6, 2022

On Aug 6, 2022, Jake Roderick McKee passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his parents, sister, and pets. Jake battled brain cancer for almost 10 years and always faced each relapse with courage and that famous Jake smile.

Jake known fondly as “Jakers” is survived by his loving parents Rod and Patricia, and sister Kiana. Nephew to Yvonne Brooks and Miguel Freitas, Brian Imai, Gary Imai, and Courtenay McKee. And Great Aunt Mary Imai.

We would like to thank the wonderful care that Jake received during his long battle from his wonderful team of doctors and nurses at Sick Kids Hospital and therapists at Holland Bloorview Rehabilitation Hospital. Jake was proud to be a Sick Kids Ambassador and participated in many fundraising events over the years.

A private funeral service for the family will be held on August 14, 2022, followed by a Celebration of Life on August 31, 2022. Details to follow shortly.
