William “Bill” C. Wilson – May 1934 ~ July 2022

Wilson, William C. “Bill” – Retired Toronto Firefighter – Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Bill, at the age of 88, is predeceased by

his partner of 30 years, Mary Muir. He is survived by his daughters Debra Wilson (Elizabeth) and Michelle (Steve Lamouri), his granddaughters Sara (Andrew), Samantha, Lauren (Adam), and Candice (Julian), his great-grandchildren Destini, Chase, Lincoln, and Logan. He is survived by his brother James

(Sally), and predeceased by brothers Peter and Alan. Bill will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Bill started his career with the Toronto Fire Department on the 9th of August 1957 and retired on the 17th of January 1988 after 31 Years.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private graveside service held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre: Ross Tilley Burn Centre would be appreciated by the family.
