Charles Edward Sidney Hodges – 1939 ~ 2022

Charles Edward Sidney Hodges – passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022, with his partner, Shirley of 16 years, by his side. Loving step-father to Deborah, Darlene, Peter, and Denise. Brother to Rosemary and David. Pre-deceased by his previous wife Betty and his parents Rose and Marmaduke ‘Sidney’. He will be remembered by his many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Charlie started his career with the Toronto Fire Department on the 29th of November 1964 and retired on the 26th of March 1990 after 26 Years. He spent most of his career at Station 24 (311) on the B1 shift (D)

In keeping with Charles’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Washago & District Lions Club (4343 Hamilton St., Washago, ON L0K2B0)
