It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired D/C Ernie Thompson Seniority #195. Ernie passed away today at the age of 90. Below is his wife Murial’s detailed message regarding service.

Remembering Good Times
Chief Ernie Thompson started with Scarborough Fire on September 19, 1960, and retired on June 30, 1990.
Living with Lung disease, Lung cancer, and Bladder cancer, he passed away peacefully in his 90th year at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill on April 24, 2022.
With respect to COVID conditions there will not be a funeral, but a private Internment and a later Celebration of Life.
