A/PC Fraser Thomas Gray – 1931 ~ 2022

GRAY, FRASER THOMAS August 5, 1931 – April 18, 2022

Peacefully, on April 18, 2022, Fraser Thomas Gray, in his 91st year. Thomas was predeceased by his first wife Norma Clements and his second wife Edith Maunder. Proud father of Gregory (Kimberley), Michael (Debbie), Debbie (Jack), Cathy (Gary) and his late son Thomas. Loving grandfather to Annie, Courtney, Connor, Alanah; great-grandfather to Jason, Lochlan and Finley. Thomas served his country from 1948 until 1951 in the Canadian Armed Forces and serviced the City of Toronto Fire Department for 35 years, then retired as the Acting Platoon Chief.

Tom started his career with the Toronto Fire Department on the 3rd of December 1954. He was promoted to Captain on the 24th of October 1975 to 29P A2 (135 C shift). He was promoted to District Chief on the 14th of July 1986, and he retired as Acting Platoon Chief on the 1st of July 1990 after 36 Years. May he rest in peace.

Tom was a proud member of the Toronto Firefighters War Veterans Association; he will be missed.
