Subject: Rob Penney 2022 Slow-Pitch Tournament
Brothers & Sisters,
Grab your mitt, grab your bat because WE ARE BACK BABY!!! It is finally time to complain about driving to the far end of Scarborough for a day in the sun (hopefully) and some below average baseball. The Rob Penney Slow-Pitch tournament has returned! Mark your calendars for this year’s event running June 23,24,27,28.
We can guarantee drinks will flow, memories will be made, hamstrings will be pulled and most importantly money will be raised for the Canadian Firefighter Cancer Fund. If you have not attended this event in the past, we highly suggest you make this the year you finally find out what all the hype is about.
We already have teams signed up and are so excited to hear from more of you. Please see the attached poster and reserve your spot today!!!

This year the tournament will once again be held at Ken Morrish Softball Complex at East Point Park, located at 101 Copperfield Road in Toronto.
The dates for the Tournament are as follows:
Thursday, June 23th – D shift
Friday, June 24th– B shift
Monday, June 27th – A shift
Tuesday, June 28th – C shift
Training, Mechanical, Public Education, Fire Prevention, and Communications can be accommodated on any of these dates.
****Firefighters are also welcome to sign up for any day or multiple days or multiple teams.
The team fee is $300.00 (10 players on the field at a time, unlimited bench warmers welcomed)
BBQ lunch will be available for purchase.
