Director John “Jack” McFadden – Apr 3rd,1931 ~ Jan 16th, 2022

John passed away with family by his side on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at age 90 years. Jack McFadden of Brighton was the son of the late James and Agnes (McKendry) McFadden. Beloved husband of the late Marlene (Radcliffe) McFadden. Loving father of John McFadden and Patricia (Jim) Gibson; all of Brighton. Ever remembered the grandfather of Jack, Liam, and Reba Gibson. Predeceased by brothers Bill (late Dorothy), Jim (late Shirley), and Fred. Survived by sister-in-law Lorna (late Dave) Cross of Burlington and sister-in-law Lil (late Fred) McFadden of Toronto.

John Joined the Toronto Fire Department in the Fire Prevention Bureau, on the 15th of June 1956. Assigned with many positions within Fire Prevention until the 9th of September 1985, when he was promoted to Director. He Retired on the the15th of April 1988 after 32 Years.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in the Spring. A Celebration of Life at a later date. If desired Memorial Donations to Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) would be appreciated by the family.
