Captain Frank W. Murray – 1932 ~ 2022

MURRAY, Francis (Frank) William (Retired Captain with the Toronto Fire Department) – Passed away peacefully at his home in Barrie on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late June. Dear father of June Hoddinott (the late Walter), Linda McGloin, Dave Murray (Gail), and the late Tom Murray. Loving grandfather of Stephen (Amanda), Simon (Jess), Melissa Bradshaw (Adam), Samantha Vines (Alan), Chris (Nicola), and Amanda Murray. Great-grandfather of Cassandra (Kevin), Hailie, MacKenzie, Dakota, Sage, Brooke, Scott, Keirstin, Taylor, Chloe, Mikayla, Tristan, Kadence, Dylan, Jacob, and great-great-grandfather of Kayanna, Rayleena, Zacharias, Malachi, Elijah, Kaleb, Jaxen and Keino. Dear brother of Thomas Murray (the late Doreen), Ken Murray (Marg), and Gladys Lorraine Hume. Frank will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held at BASIC FUNERALS & CREMATION CHOICES – JENNETT MEMORIAL CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Barrie Union Cemetery.
