Funeral Information for Captain Robert “Bob” Puk Retired L752 North York

Fire Captain Robert Puk – 1938 ~ 2021

Bob passed away peacefully after a long journey of health complications. He fought valiantly to be here. He is survived by his devoted, beloved wife and best friend of 61 years, Diane. Loving father to Lori (Glenn) and Robert (Lori). Proud Grandfather to Darryl (Sadie), Kinsey, Kayla (Ben), Erik, Ryan (Adriana), Griffith, Agnus, and Great Grandfather to Margot.

Bob was a vibrant man in many ways, a Firefighter Captain over 32 years, Firefighter of The Year in 1995, manager and coach of the Firefighters baseball team who accomplished Championship at the World Firefighters Games in Las Vegas. Bob was the one who everyone called if they needed help with anything electrical, mechanical, or help to build something. He had the expertise and never hesitated to help. He was a man with a strong exterior demeanor but a heart that was always filled with love and emotion for everyone, especially his family. He will be so deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him, family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers over the years.

Memories will be cherished by everyone that knew him, and one last time, as Bob would say, let’s have a beer. Bob is in the care of the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge st. Thornhill, Ontario. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/en-ca/obituaries/thornhill-on/robert-puk-10473108
