Ronald Paul Joseph Breslin – 1932 ~ 2021

Ronald Paul Joseph Breslin, son of Alice (Lally) Delcourt/Breslin & Louis (Lou) Breslin, 11 November 2021. Beloved husband of 61 years to Kim, Loving father of Michelle Anne-Marie & Michael Paul Joseph (pre-deceased) Ron was the beloved brother to Marie (Ed – deceased). He was predeceased by his sisters Myrna (Jack – deceased) and Eileen (Jack – deceased). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Twenty-three years as a Firefighter for the City of Toronto. Once retired from Fire Fighting, Ron worked as an accountant but his calling in later life was his music and the weather. Ron really should have been a weatherman! Whenever there was a big storm coming, all his fellow firefighters would ask Ron if it was safe to turn in or if they would end up having to get up to shovel off the platform!

In his retirement years, Ron and Kim devoted their time to playing music and singing in Retirement Homes in the North Bay Area. Music became Ron’s main focus in life in his later years. Nothing could bring more joy than just enjoying playing his music.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption 480 McIntyre Street West, North Bay, Ontario P1B 2Z4, on Saturday, November 27th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory can be made to bloodcancers.ca

Our sincerest Condolences from all our Retiree Groups go out to the Family and Friends.

In Solidarity, Retired Toronto Fire Fighters Association I.A.F.F. Local 3888
