Funeral Information for William David Ball Retired L752 North York Fire

William David Ball – November 9th, 1937 ~ October 28th, 2021

William “Dave” Ball passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 83 years of age. Loving husband of Ruth for 62 years. Beloved father of Cindy, Vicky, Stephanie, and Vivian. Proud grandfather of Olivia, Laura, Melanie, Erika, and Stephen. Great grandfather of Olli, Owen, Beau, Jude, and Charlotte. Cherished son of the late John and Edith Ball.

Dave was a dedicated firefighter with North York Fire Department and loved to help people. He enjoyed working with his hands as a carpenter and mechanic. He also enjoyed hunting. Dave began his career with the North York Fire Department on Aug. 24, 1964, and Retired on Feb. 23, 1995, after 31 years of service. Dave enjoyed 26 years of Retirement.

David is in the care of Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home in Newmarket, Ontario. The family would like to thank everybody who loved him and the staff at Southlake Village. As requested, cremation has taken place, there is to be no funeral service at this time.
