Captain David Edwin Hill – 1931 ~ 2021

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, September 26, 2021, David Edwin Hill, in his 90th year, beloved husband for 70 years of Joan. Loving father of Joanne and Randall Cochrane, David and Christine. Cherished grandfather of David, Suzanne, David, and Stephen. Proud great-grandfather of Natalie, Stephen, David, Christopher, Erika, Jacob, Taylor, Francesca, Veronica, and great-great-grandfather of Isla. Fondly remembered by Nancy and her family.

David joined the Toronto Fire Department in 1957 and served at various stations throughout the city, retiring as a Captain in 1992 after 35 years. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Monday, October 4 from one o’clock until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.
