Captain Victor Clair Dunn – 1928 – 2021
Victor passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on January 11th, 2021 at the age of 92. Much loved husband of Joyce (Williams) Dunn for 70 years. Loving and loved dad of Darlene Victor (late Ernie), Denise Cormack and her husband Richard and Darcelle Davie and her husband James. Grandfather of Warren, Branden and Taylor. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Victor will be fondly remembered by many friends as well as nieces and nephews and their families.
Vic was proud Captain of The Toronto Fire Department. He joined on July 6th,1951, Badge #15. He was promoted to Captain Nov 23rd, 1972 and retired on June August 5th,1989 after 37 years.
A Private Family service will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Saturday January 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Victor will be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery.
