James Edward Gentleman – 1928 – 2020

We are sad to announce the passing of Jim Gentleman in his 92nd year. Jim was a lifelong resident of East York and a career member of East York Fire.

Jim began his career with East York in 1953 and Retired as Captain in 1989. “ Big Jim ” was a gentle giant, was instrumental in the creation of EYFD`s tug of war team in late 1960s into early 70s.

He will be missed by his family and friends. Jim is in the care of Giffen Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, on the Danforth, there are no Services scheduled at this time.
