Come March with us! New for the parade this year, Toronto Firefighter’s will be marshalling on Grosvenor St. just east of Queen’s Park Crescent East. Just north of the Ontario Firefighters Memorial location, where we will try to take a group picture at 11:30 am.This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020. We are inviting all uniformed personnel, family and friends to join us for ‘the march’ in March. All attending Toronto Firefighters are reminded to wear their full-dress uniforms. This will include white shirts, black ties, white gloves and issued headdresses. Dress for the weather conditions. The Celtic Society will be offering football scarves, green capes and barbequed back bacon on a bun, with all proceeds going to charity. The Celtic Society and BBQ will be located on Grosvenor St. and they will be ready to serve you a hot sandwich after 9:30 am. A shuttle will run from Adelaide Street Station 332 starting from 10:00 am until 11:30 am to the marshalling area. All Firefighters must form up by 11:50 am as the parade starts promptly at 12:00 noon. At the end of the Parade, there will be a reception for all participating uniformed firefighters at Grace O’Malley’s Pub, 14 Duncan St. (Just east of Stn. 332). We encourage all Fire department personnel, to join us with your family and friends, and help make this the biggest parade ever. Parking is available in the Adelaide St and John St area at your own expense. There will be NO parking at the Fire Hall. |
