UNION NOTICE: #19-054

Subject: Recovery Meetings **REMINDER** October 23, 2019

Brothers and Sisters,As an Association, we are always looking for ways to improve the quality of life and the health of our members. Throughout the course of our career, we may know of someone who has suffered from some type of substance abuse or addiction issues. It affects our families, co-workers, and our loved ones. Fortunately, there are some of us that have overcome these problems and are here to offer assistance to those in need. Those members are always available to offer their help and share their stories of recovery. You don’t have to suffer alone; there is help available.Do you know a firefighter that is struggling with alcohol or substance abuse issues? Maybe you’ve thought about seeking help yourself? We have a solution. Join us on the first Wednesday of each month. Don’t worry, we will protect your anonymity. It’s a safe place to share your recovery or your problem. Our primary purpose is to give hope to those that are stuck in addiction and show them that there is a way out. Please help us spread the word and join us on the first Wednesday of every month. All Divisions are welcomeWho: Any 3888 member that feels they have a problem, active or retired.
